Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of PrintWatch ("Service"), operated by PrintWatch ("we", "us", "our"), available at https://printwatch.space.

By creating an account, connecting a printer, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.

PrintWatch provides cloud-based AI monitoring for 3D printers, primarily Bambu Lab devices. The Service may include:

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to data processing) to create an account.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, agent tokens, and bridge keys confidential. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.

The Service may send pause, stop, or other commands to your printer when AI detection triggers or when you request control. You are solely responsible for printer configuration, fire safety, and supervision.

PrintWatch is an assistance tool, not a substitute for physical supervision. AI detection is probabilistic and may produce false positives or false negatives. We do not guarantee prevention of damage, fire, or material loss.

Free and paid plans are described on our pricing page. Limits (e.g. number of printers, monitoring hours per billing period) are enforced automatically.

Paid subscriptions are processed by third-party payment providers (e.g. WayForPay). Prices, currency, and taxes are shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions are for a fixed period (e.g. one month) and do not auto-renew unless we explicitly offer renewal.

We may change plan features or prices with reasonable notice. Changes apply to new purchases; existing prepaid periods are generally honoured for their paid term.

Refunds are handled according to applicable consumer law and our payment provider policies. Contact [email protected] for billing disputes.

The Service integrates with third parties including Bambu Lab (cloud/LAN APIs), OAuth providers (Google, Apple, if enabled), payment processors, and optional desktop bridge software.

Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages, API changes, or data practices outside our control.

We own the Service, software, branding, documentation, and AI models (except open-source components used under their licences). You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your internal print monitoring while your account is active and in good standing.

You retain ownership of content you provide (e.g. printer names). You grant us a licence to process printer telemetry, camera frames, and configuration solely to operate and improve the Service.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, network issues, printer connectivity, or third-party failures may cause downtime.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with notice where reasonably practicable. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risk.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) EUR 50.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be excluded under EU/UK or other mandatory consumer protection law.

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights, except where caused by our breach or negligence.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, you benefit from mandatory protections of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of those rights.

For business users, these Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.

EU consumers may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). You may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where consumer law allows.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on https://printwatch.space/terms with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. For material changes affecting consumers, we will provide additional notice where required.
